Hi all....i know this topic has been covered before, i have read all the threads with great care but im still confused with setting up the beds. confused3  I have three spare cushions but not clear where each one goes as none seems to fit comfortably anywhere.

The first one has a flap of extra material which appears to offer no purpose.
The second is wooden backed with the back extending further out round the cushion, and has a hinged length of wood on one side and a bit cut out on the other.
The third one is a soft cushion with corner "cut off ".

I have worked out how to set up the double with the long cushions and presume one of the above fits in the middle at the front but don't know which one.

Could any Talbot Symphony owners please help to "de-fuddle" my brain!

Thanks in advance.  allthumbz

My Duetto I think has a similar layout. The one with the wooden side and the bit cut out goes between the drivers seat and the settee. The nearside rear passenger seat pulls forward and the flap lifts up and clips on the front seat. The soft both sides cushion goes on top of the flap. The remaining cushion in the middle is only used when you make up a double

Don't know if this will help, but read this thread which contains details of the later Boxer Symphony layout....

Thanks Paul, i did read that thread but i don't have a L shaped one (unless its the hinged one). That seems to contradict what Pete says above too...... confused3

Nora (traficlady) has a Talbot Symphony - send her a PM in case she's not logging on at the moment.

Peter and I have been having discussions about how you make up the double bed. I have made an album in Flickr showing how I do it. It may be wrong, I don't know, but it's worked for me so far. The only thing that still confuses me is the cushion with the hinged flap. The flap seems to be pretty useless (mine wasn't attached when I bought it, I attached it, decided it made matters worse and took it off again). As far as I can make out from the handbook, this flap is supposed to hold the cushion up but it's not long enough to reach the floor, so goodness knows how.

Anyway, I thought I'd put a link on to the Flickr album for anyone else who might be interested. I just hope it works!

Edit - it works for me!
