Rust stain on bodywork - how to remove?
Hi all,
The old rear wiper on my T4 Trooper was rusting away (now replaced) but it's left a stain on the paintwork below it. Any recommendations on how I can remove the stain? I've used normal car polish, lots of elbow grease and some Auto Glym stuff for removing tar/oil that Halfords recommended, but it's not shifting it.
Cheers
Dan

Polish will coat and protect the stain, not remove it!
Have you tried T-Cut?

Rust Stain
Brasso is less abrasive and will do the job just as well.

Hi Dan
Daft as it sounds you could also try rubbing it with shaving foam -that works sometimes.
