Sussex Duo - Side marker lights
Hi, Having seen the marker lights fitted to the new Warwick XL, I fancy fitting them to my Sussex Duo. Has anyone done this or can advise on size of wire needed and how it can be run up the sides of the van?

On your first post of this, there were 57 viewing but no response, so I can only assume that no-one has done this modification.
Why not take a minute to give a short introduction here....

Hi Paulmold, Thank you for the observation, but I don’t consider the comment to be the most effective way to encourage a new member to contribute to the forum, so I don’t think I’ll bother.

It would appear others haven't bothered as well!!glynick wrote:Hi Paulmold, Thank you for the observation, but I don’t consider the comment to be the most effective way to encourage a new member to contribute to the forum, so I don’t think I’ll bother.

Hi Glynick,
Sorry for the bad impression that you have. I have not done this modification but from the very little that I know about modern automotive electrics I would guess that you would need to wire the marker lights via a relay that is energised from the rear lights. You would be well advised to fuse the feed from the ignition on circuit that prvides power to the markers.
I see from your profile that your van is 2012. Remembr that making this modification may invalidate your 3 year Peugeot warranty unless the work is done by your Peugeot garage.
I hope that this is helpful - if you look here again.

Hi Ron,
Many thanks for your comments and especially about the warranty. I hadn’t considered that and it may remind others too before doing the mod. Happy New Year to you and thanks for restoring my faith in the forum.
Nick.
