Marker lights
Hi,
We've got two nearside marker lights not working on our 2020 Warwick XL. The van went to a Peugeot main dealer yesterday for the van side service. They looked at the lights and said they were OK but there was no power or earth present and because the wires were in the habitation side behind the cooker/fridge etc they wouldn't be prepared to look.
It's got to have it's habitation service done at the dealers but that's not for another month, so just wondered if anyone else as had the same problem and know what the problem may be?
Appreciate any help or advice.

Re: Marker lights
I thought access to marker lights was by removing the Amber cover, which as it is part of the body as supplied by Peugeot is nothing to do with habitation conversion, the base mini bus would have the same marker lights.
Likeliest and simplest cause will be blown bulbs, instructions for replacement are in Peugeot manual supplied with van

Blown bulbs or corroded connections would be my guess. Verdigris....that lovely green metal to metal damp reaction.

Re: Marker lights
Did they unmount the lamps though? If they weren't prepared to look.....could be cable rot at the lamp connection itself, without the connection to the bulb terminals there's no power. Mine (different model right enough) was intact in the lamp itself, and looked fine, but the monkey who wired them in didn't seal the slide on terminals properly, and the wire had parted from the terminal.
You won't know unless you take the lamp body out of the bodywork.
I think you can rule out switches, as obviously your other market lights are working. I presume your main side light and brake lights are working too?

Yep all other lights are working even the third marker on the same side. I don't use the van at night so I think I'll just leave it till the dealer does the habitation service but thanks for the helpful advice and suggestionsPeatlander 2 wrote:Did they unmount the lamps though?
