Re: Side Marker Lights
I would have thought canbus friendly led equivalent bulbs exist as car replacements are common. I wouldnt have thought your side markers would be included in canbus system anyway as canbus tends to cover the original vehicle wiring such as head and tail lights and turn signal etc. May be talking rubbish but no doubt someone will have done just as you are intending and can advise further. Seem to remember recently someone changed the whole fitting to led at reasonable cost...

Re: Side Marker Lights
Marker lights are controlled by the EM50 unit (on floor behind the driver's seat) so not linked with the canbus.

Try this firm, they do various types. Check the distance between the fixing screws before buying !
If yours were fitted similar to ours you need to cut off lots of silicone from the back of the units to remove them, although it was half inch thick water found it’s way in where they had missed a bit

Re: Side Marker Lights
Hi, i replaced my top marker lights with led bulbs, they were jokon lights that took wedge bulbs (w5) , bought mine on ebay, first ones were too long to get cover on, so bought some flat fronted cob LEDs, did the job great
