AS Crockery for a 1999 Harmony
Hi all
My van came without any crockery - Im not particularly bothered about getting the original AS crockery, but wondered what was included and how it fits in the cupboard - also did it originally come with any glasses and where did they go?
(If someone has a photo of the cupboard with original stuff in it that would be good as a picture speaks 1000 words!)
thanks

Thanks for that.
The cupboard layout in mine looks totally different and the two little doors below are individual cupboards.
It's probably been modified by the previous owners...I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Hi Richard, the cupboard in the picture is different to mine too, I believe that the cupboard in the picture has been modified, the crockery set that came with mine was cream with pink/blue paint spots on. You can get the sets on eBay still although I have taken our crockery out the van and kept it safe in case I ever sell her. Swapped for lightweight melamine but had to use the flap cupboard above the rear doors for holding the large dinner plates as they didn't fit size wise. Will try and sort u out some pictures. I'm still away but managed to grab some 3G so will reply to PM when I'm home re the other bits u messages me about

Hi PB when you say AS supplied do you mean the crockery or the cupboard layout? My mums crockery in her Ravenna is the same as yours, mines same shape and brand just different pattern/colours, you cupboard is totally different to any I have seen before though. . . .

The picture you see is as it was delivered to me by AS.Harper22 wrote:Hi PB when you say AS supplied do you mean the crockery or the cupboard layout? It may be that AS used a selection of different crockery in the same vans.
Perhaps the Build number will identify the type?
As for the cupboard, I can't comment other than it is what it was and is!

Re: AS Crockery for a 1999 Harmony
Thanks all for your help.
Pam has spent the day making a list of stuff we need for the van.
We need crockery, but want light weight stuff and would like to get some to fit in the ready made slots.
She tells me we need:
4 x Large dinnner platers
4 x Side plates
4 x Bowls
and either 4 cups and saucers
or 4 small mugs.
Could someone with a set of originals measure them for me so I know what I am looking to buy online.
I think I saw a post somewhere that said the dinner plates are 9.5" but can't find it again!
Cheers

Yes the dinner plates are 9.5 in diameter. Most melamine sets have plates that are 10 inch. We use a melamine set but it just means that things don't fit in their relevant slots, the elastic retaining straps holding them in place.

Hi
We use Corelle dishes. Light, can be kept warm (I do not like serving hot food on cold plates), like the feel of them better than melamine. They fit the rack reasonably well.
