Harmony Peugeot 1999 DSL
Hello to all,
Is the Peugeot 1.9 turbo DSL that’s fitted in a 1999 Harmony driven by belt or chain and what are the recommended service intervals on them?
Many thanks
Paul

Re: Harmony Peugeot 1999 DSL
Hi Paul,
I have a 1999 reg Harmony TD(actually built in 1998) my service book says every 12000 miles at the beginning but the the service log section says major service every 10000 miles with and intermediate service every 5000.
For me, I have a major service 1 year and and a minor service the next year which coincides with a habitation service and balances the costs.
My records shows a cambelt change (inc water pump) every 6 years or about 20000 miles.
There's no cambelt intervals in the service book listed, so if you've no record get it done asap.
Check the gear synchros as I had to have a new gearbox fitted in 2017 in the total absence of replacement synchros (also now affecting Citroen and Peugeot cars of a similar age).
If you need any further info I've got plenty here.

Re: Harmony Peugeot 1999 DSL
Sorry, not a reply as such, I just wanted to ask if anyone with an Autosleeper Harmony lives in the vicinity of Chichester as I would like to see if a Harmony is what would suit us. If it is, we would then travel further to look at one that is for sale. I have put this request in already but I think in the wrong forum. Playtime

Hi playtime.
I have a Harmony 1.9 td and live in Locks Heath, J9 M27. I've owned it from new apart from a 9 year gap. Let me know if you want to see it.
