Trooper Roof Problem
Three of the four internal plastic brackets that hold the rear securing bar in place on my '92 T4 Troopers pop top have broken, does anyone know where I can get suitable replacements from?
Thanks

Re: Trooper Roof Problem
Thanks for your rapid response Paul pretty obvious really I suppose but I actually didn't consider them as I thought I'd just get a 'we don't stock spares for a conversion that old' type of response.
I've sent them a message on your recommendation so we shall see.
Anyone else know of any other parties (preferably available online) who has a suitable replacement part?

Re: Trooper Roof Problem
I'm fairly sure that the solid-side pop-up roof was completely unique to A-S, so, unlike the Reimo roof system that they only fitted as an option during the last couple of years of production, all of the parts would have been sourced directly by A-S.
It's quite likely that they used a generic part from somewhere, but IMO it's not likely that whoever they sourced it from would know what they used it for! The only other likely source would be a motorhome breakers - one of the two clubs (I ~think~ the Caravan Club) used to publish a list of those to members on their website, and may still do - I haven't checked recently.

If you don't have any joy with A/S you could try your local breakers yard who will go on a breakers on line system and search for your parts.

Swift response from AS spares part is available part number IF0203 £6 plus VAT (and p&p I suspect) for 4. Will be ordering over next few days.
