European breakdown incurance due
Hi
I have just been quoted £257 (Annual) to renew my insurance with red pennant it was previously £157 (Dick Turpin comes to mind) they stated
the rise was due to the fact my Symphony was now over 12 years old, I trawled the internet and came up with this company [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they
quoted me £69 or £135 for 3yrs and no age restrictions, has anybody dealt with this company in the past or present?
any comments good or bad would be most welcome.

I would read their terms and conditions carefully. Although they advertise cover for motorhomes they specifically exclude vehicles that include living accommodation and they don't say how they will provide cover outside the UK.

Try Scenic; [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
My van is 13 years old and they didn't have a problem with that. Also they were the only company who offered me Green Card cover (free) which all the others shy away from handing out as they don't want you driving in countries they consider to be 'third world'. I think their European cover is up to a max of six months which is ample for my requirements.

Hi Peter
thanks for the info, I read the terms and conditions and it stated "modified" which I took to mean a converted van etc but having read
the links you sent me I am going to stay clear and look elsewhere.
regards
Pat
