Renault rimini 1992 Empty Renault rimini 1992

Hello, just wondering if anyone has one? I am looking to buy one, and was wondering if the lap belts in the rear an be changed for 3 point belts. I am reluctant to use lap belts for my 6 year old daughter as I believe them to be less safe! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if it is the same vehicle, but the topic has been discxussed on here before, the most recent last week.
I don't have a link but have you done a search of the forum?

I think the conscientious of opinion was that it wasn't advised.

As a generalisation, retro-fitting 3 point belts in place of lap belts is never going to be easy. The reason why lap belts would have been fitted in the first place will be because of the difficulty of finding strong enough fixing points high enough up in the van.

No doubt any problem like that can be solved, but you might need to spend a lot of money in the process...
