water damage/dadoronron
The window on my vw 2001 topaz was not closed properly and the rain got in staining the fabric on the high top inside. Anyone know who I can purchase some new material from to enable me to re-cover this panel?...Ron.

If it's the pink/beige material of that era, you can't buy it (AFAIK) any more.
A-S can supply a very similar replacement (or they could when I last asked) and it looks similar but is more pink. If you use this - and especially if you re-cover side panels symmetrically - I doubt that anyone other than you will notice the slight mis-match.
Incidentally it is more likely that the cause would have been a leak in the window to roof seal that has caused the damage than it being left open in the rain, but you would be in a better position to judge that than me.

Thanks for input, I will try to contact A-S in Evesham, unless any one knows a local (to me)contact. cheers, Ron.
Out of interest, the water ran in passed the window seal to frame, as the two were not fully mated, owing to the window locking mech. not being fully latched.
Then dripped down into the insect /reflector screen casing and along this channel and from there, once full up, down into the fabric and made the stain.
This happened last year in all the rain we had then. It has not leaked since.
