Rear Spring slap
My Warwick rear springs knock and sound like a big slap when riding over rough lanes especially when very light laden. Any one encountered this and any ideas on solution, I understand air suspension units fitted to rear can alleviate this has any one got costs and does it cure the problem although not a problem more of a little niggle and I don't like noises from underneath.

Hi Good morning
If you type in Air suspension into the seach box, you will find lots of informatiom on the topic, lots of us have added Air suspension to our vans and find the ride has greatly improved.
have a nice bank holiday

Re: Rear Spring slap
Hi alarm ... I would check shock absorbers first before considering air suspension. If they are worn they will l cause you springs to slap (vibrate)

Re; Spring slap
Hi Alanm
I've had something similar to what you described, on each end of the middle leaf is a rubber buffer, I lost one on the rough roads around here and it sounded terrible, luckily i found a piece of rubber to fit and glued it on as the originals are bonded to a metal plate and then rivetted to the leaf it could be a new complete spring otherwise. About the only thing that has annoyed me about the warwick since we bought it earlier this year is the harsh rear suspension, I've had a look at the air systems but the funds need to recover a bit more before that can happen, I notice AS now advertise their new vans with air systems!
