Handbrake Extender
Hi folks,
I am having a bit if trouble with my back (old age) and I have trouble with the handbrake or should I say clutch control whilst holding the vehicle on a hill.
I have seen this, looks strange and did a search on here with nothing much found.

If you put the word "handbrake" in the forum search, the second one that comes back (after yours) is this one:

I should add that I have no personal experience of the product, and it seems to me exceedingly expensive for what you get...

Re: Handbrake Extender
Mike,
I can't see why the bit of kit wouldn't work.
It does seem a bit expensive for what you get; but "pain in the wallet" is insignificant when compared to "pain in the back". Just remember "You can't take it with you." and then the price will seem a lot more reasonable!
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Ian (who also knows pain when he sees it!!)

Re: Handbrake Extender
I have a Kobra Extender fitted to my 2008 Symbol, as a short a***, without it I struggle bigtime to use the handbrake. Its easy to fit and does the job. Think it cost about £50. It made a heck of a difference, to what is a manufacturers design fault.

Looks like the jobbie. And 'only' £52!
I have the same problem so I may give it a try.

We too bought ours from outdoorbits in 2006 and it's never let us down, it really an excellent bit
