Hi Folks!
Found site whilst Googling VW Autosleeper Clubman GL (spotted on Classified E-Bay)
We (Jackie & James) bide in the foothills of Willie Wallace country in Clackmannanshire.
I help James run an upholstery and soft furnishing business in Stirling but am also a retired IT administrator (Edinburgh for 24yrs).
We are keen to own our first autosleeper having been up to Loch Fyne this weekend and loved the thought of touring the highlands with our grandson and his soon to be born wee brother or sister. Also with our Westie Bonnie.
We think we would like a VW but having read comments this afternoon on your very informative forum that could change. Especially as the Clubman seems to only have two seat belts?

Looking forward to being a part of the chat and suspect we will have many questions.chinwag

Hi Bonnieweejeannie

Welcome to the Forum from Sunny Somerset wave

If you need more than 2 belted seats, and want a small coachbuilt on a VW then it will be difficult. A/S did make an extra travel seat on a Gatcombe. Otherwise you will need to look for a Talisman ( Peugeot based) or Nuevo ES (also Peugeot based).

You'll find lots of help on this Forum.

Regards
John

Hello Bonnieweejeannie

Welcome to the forum. We have a 1995 Ford Amethyst and that has 4 belted forward facing traveling seats, which we take our boys in. Not sure about the newer models though.

hellowave smileywave Bonnieweejeannie asof_welcome2 Don't worry whether its VW, Pug, Ford, Merc, Fiat. those bits will give the least bother. All the modern vehicles won't give any problems for the most of the first 100k and there are not many motorhomes with more than that on the clock.
