New Autosleeper Owner
Hi, I joined this Forum several months ago whilst trying to become an Autosleeper owner.
Well, I have achieved that status now, just bought an Autosleeper Clubman Volkwagon 1998 S reg.
Lovely van, only got 42000 on clock. Had to travel 130 miles to buy it, and it drove beautifully all the way back home!
I'm struggling to fit all my "belongings" into a smaller space. We have part-ex'd our Eldiss Autoquest which has served us well but
it was time to downsize for various reasons.
There was so much storage space in the Eldiss and so very little in the Clubman! Will have to get rid of lots of stuff!!!
Hope we will enjoy this new MH and if we have any problems, hope we will find the answers on here!!!

You will soon find places for everything, possibly thinking why did we take that with us? over 1 or 2 items. You have made a good choice as those VWs are very economical to run

Re: New Autosleeper Owner
Firstly Hi & welcome.
We did much the same as you a couple of years back and traded an Elddis Autostratus for our AS Talisman - much the same body as your Clubman. As others have rightly pointed out, you soon find out what you don't really need! The big bonus is the drive-ability of the Talisman and the fact that you can easily park in supermarket car parks etc, where we would not have managed to park the Autostratus.
