Rimini 1990 awning
Hi,
I have just bought a drive away awning for my 1990 Rimini (Renault Traffic) that I recently purchased and it was supplied with a number of sections of 'figure of 8' strip for connecting the awning to the van.
I dont currently have the vehicle (in the garage for service) and I know nothing about motorhomes or awnings so please excuse my ignorance but can anyone tell me if this system will fit on my van well (or at all)
I have heard about a "bar and clamp' system. Would this be better?
Thanks in advance!

The figure of 8 rail fits into a gutter rail fitted to the side of the van and works perfectly well (in my experience) if you have said gutter rail fitted.
You simply slide the awning tunnel into one end of the 8 and the other clips onto the rail...............simples

I had a length of "J" rail pop riveted onto the side of our RV50 to take an awning's figure of eight. I also had a length over the rear doors so I could have the awning at the back if I wished.
