Rimini 1990

Hi there all.....

I am after an accelerator/throttle cable for my 1990 Renault Traffic Autosleeper Rimini. Does anyone have any idea where I might try to get one?

You could try a Renault dealer?

Or it it's petrol, a bicycle rear derailleur inner cable is about the right thickness if you're stuck. A couple of solderless nipples and you're away

I have tried Renault and they have one but want FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY pounds!!!
It is Petrol but I am absolutely hopeless with vehicles (local mechanic will fit the cable) so fashioning one myself is out!
I'll give Venhill a try when they open tomorrow.

hi there is on the market a universal throttle cable kit available from motor factors when i ran my garage i used them all the time they cost about £25
i have the same model rimini as you an 1989 also off ebay it is a petrol / log

Some years ago I had the speedo cable fail on an Audi. The part was obsolete but I had one made by these people.

They made a good job of it. I can't remember the exact price but I do remember it being very reasonable. They had a lot of patterns on hand but not mine so I sent them the remains of the old one and they made it up.
