Hi People

Have sold our Hymer B544 and are looking to downsize as there is now only two of us.

I have been offered, by way of a friend, a pretty immaculate 1990 Frisky with a 2.0L petrol engine and an elevating roof. It is an automatic and has been well maintained. It is a perfect size for us.

I realise it is never going to win a drag race but will it be capable of cruising at 65/70mph and be capable of coping with hills reasonably well?

Many thanks for any feedback

I can't remember the exact point in time that the engine updates happened, but, whatever, if it's running properly it should be adequate to keep up with the traffic. We ran a Mk2 with the 2 litre Pinto engine and an auto for many years and the performance was fine - a 1990 model may still have the Pinto or possibly a later engine but it should be Ok. However... be aware that fuel consumption will be a significant factor if you intend to travel far...
