TV mount location?
We have a Pollensa (year 2000) on a Talbot Boxer base vehicle. We have bought a AVTEX TV/DVD and are thinking of mounting the TV with numerous brackets on the side of the drinks cupboard above the Fridge where the TV aerial socket is located.
Idea is that the TV will be completely removed when van stored or travelling.
Any thoughts about this location and mounting here?
Many thanks

Hi MGM,
These post's might be a help .....
https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t2768-bulkhead-tv-mounting?highlight=mounting+a+tv
As we keep our TV at home, you will notice that I used the following mounting bracket ...
B&Q TV Bracket …… 5014117110403 …. With “Quick Release” Clips …..
Hope this helps

Re: TV mount location?
Looks good, but we want something to allow the Grand daughter to be able to watch the TV from the top bunk above the cab, hence the idea of the drink-cabinet mounting above the fridge.
I have a reasonable idea with a elbow type mount that I can remove (for security). I will post once detailed!
I was just wanting any pointers before starting....
Many thanks to you.

I know the harmony is a different layout to your vehicle but I got a small bracket from ebay for about 5 quid which is detatchable when needed and the bracket on the wall isnt too untidy.

and looks just the business. Im sure it would be suitable for the location your wanting

I reckon this is a better style of TV mount:

If I wanted a TV in the van, I'd probably be looking to put it in the headlining behind the cab.

tv mount
Hi Harper,it looks like you can just lift off the tv and leave the back part of the bracket, but on the eBay listing it dosent mention that, how do you take yours off and is it easy to do,dont fancy unscewing little bolts...cheers...Algy

Re: TV mount location?
There is one tiny bolt that can be put into the arm and back plate to secure both together if required but as te TV is never mounted in transit I don't use that funtion so it literally hooks into the wall plate and then hooks out for transport. I didn't realise it did that when I bought it so that's an added bonus :-)
