Auto-Sleeper Trooper Wanted

looking for a 2003 onwards Auosleeper Trooper to buy had a t5 Leisuredrive High Top for a couple of years now looking to change any tips what to look for in Trooper models or seen any nice ones for sale north west area please?

We had a Leisuredrive Cruisader for a couple of years before the present van. The Autosleeper is a far superior conversion both in build quality and equipment.
If you choose an Autosleeper with an Eberspacher D2 Airtronic blown air heater make sure it works properly, i.e. heats up, stops then starts again on the thermostat without altering the controls. I recently had a big bill (over £300) for a control unit (ECU) fitted and was told that some of the earlier ones could be problematic. Mine was first fitted in 2004.

Found a T5 Trooper on eBay plus three older models.

Finally found what I was looking for , a 2003 T4 trooper with only 40,000 miles on the clock and a full service history up to the present day . Paid a bit over the odds for it but as its only had one owner and I intend to keep it for quite a while I am more than happy (even got myself a VW tee shirt for the meets that me and the missus will be going to)

spot on Alf , drove it home today and well pleased with it. Got a good trade in and a few quid off the price looking forward to getting away to wales this weekend
