Almost an auto sleeper trooper owner

Hi, my name is Sarita and I'm from the south coast near Portsmouth. I'm an itinerant wanderer currently without wheels. While stationary, I'm self employed as a gardener, care worker and chief family dog walker.

I've joined ASOF as I've set my heart on the Autosleeper Trooper conversion which is perfect for day to day use (space for a lawn mower) and solo trips away with the dog. I've managed to find a 1997 VW T4 transporter 2370cc diesel manual with 106k on the clock in my price range (£9k). The owner has had it from new and the MOT record is almost spotless. Am hoping to finalise the deal early next month, so it's all steam ahead looking in to insurance, campervan clubs, breakdown cover, and all things related. I'm looking forward very much to chatting with all you experienced souls who've already jumped the hoops.
