I had that problem with my fiat 1.9 Turbo Diesel. Wouldn't re-start when the engine was warm. Got diagnostics done and it turned out to be a faulty sensor.

Hi,

Touch wood, I can honestly say I've never had a 'non starter', petrol or diesel.

However I had a Peugeot, 406 which used to cut out (total loss of ignition) for no apparent reason. Bit 'lairy' at 70 mph on a M'way!

Never did get to the bottom of the problem, despite numerous visits to main dealer and local grease monkey. shrugg

Sold it in the end to finance the Symphony, which is based on.....!

Try the good folks over on the transit owners forum, they're really helpful.

My mate had the identical problem on his Duetto as the OP's. I seem to think his was down to a sensor in the end but can't be 100%. Just tried to phone him to ask as I cant remember for sure.

As one of the other posters suggested....this will be answered almost immediately on the Transit Owners forum.

Hi Tom.

A hello in the intro section to the other members while you can't get to your van might help you get more responses to your questions. up!
