Rubber duck aerial on Duetto

Anyone find the rubber duck radio aerial fitted to the Duetto a bit useless regards reception? If so, what type of aerial did you replace it with?

The rubber aerial on my Symphony is actually quite good despite having a break halfway along its length. Check you have a good earth from the radio and not just through the aerial.

Good point. It's still fitted with the Ford radio which is pretty awful (along with the * Inappropriate Word * Ford door speakers!) and I have a new Pioneer to replace it so i'll see how that goes.

My 95 Duetto radio is also hopeless.
It's the original Ford 2006 model and it has very week reception.
Did you find out what was up with your radio?
