Carver plug (Autosleeper part)

A bit of a long shot but...............!!

Does anyone have a spare plug used to stop water going into the hot water supply of the Carver heater or know where I can get one at a sensible price? It's simply a piece of aluminium bar approx 4" long which oddly enough was not a Carver part, but issued only by Autosleeper. Contacted A/S and they sell them for £11!!

OK i'm a tight git....but £11 for a tiny piece of bar!!
