Hello from the Isle of Wight Empty Hello from the Isle of Wight

Post by Guest Wed May 11, 2011 9:21 am

I have been the owner of my Duetto since July 2003. Its an Automatic, didn't go out to buy one but now I would not drive anything else. Touch wood no problems except last year front inside road spring failed the MOT as it was missing about 1.5 inches from the top, can't avoid all the pot holes!!!! and now minor spots of rust are appearing bottom of rear wheel arches and along the skirt.

Welcome from North Wales. I long to revisit Isle of Wight especially with those 5day break deals that are always offered, it's just such a long way to go.

p.s. does your Duetto have the drop-down extra worktop across the back doors?

Hi Tomed1.

Went to the Isle of Wight once. Did a boat handling course on the Medina. Great place will have to visit again.

Welcome to the forum.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Good to know you have had a duetto since 2003. We have only had ours a few weeks ago. So if you dont mind will be asking lots of questions when we have problems.

The other member was "Solent" just did a search!

He hasnt been on since posting in this thread:

https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t263-hello-from-solent

which is a real shame as he has a rare Sandhurst model which we never got to see or hear any more about! so_sad

Is Solent in the ASOC Roli? if he is and you know him give him a nudge for us gimmefive

Hello from the Isle of Wight Empty Drop down table

Post by Guest Wed May 11, 2011 5:47 pm

Paul sorry I do not have the drop down table. I almost got to the stage of making one but that is as far as I got. I think one the other side of the cooker might be a better bet.

group_welcome to the forum. Last time we went to the IOW I lost my car keys whist waiting for the ferry, it was really embarrassing. Eventually found them and we were the last car to board and got a round of applause! Needless to say things were very quiet on the way back.
