Anyone changed pan drawer under oven
I see that lots of others have had issues with the sliding pan drawer under the oven - I’ve searched & read the relevant posts. I’m struggling to see how it works (I understand normal drawer mechanisms but not this one) or why it failed / how I can repair.
Marquis say it needs new runners which don’t appear in the AS parts catalogue.
Any help appreciated.

Re: Anyone changed pan drawer under oven
I modified ours to come right out on double extending runners, this did involve dismantling the drawer to make it a few millimetres narrower because the double extending runners are thicker.
As far as I remember, I removed the runner screws from the drawer first then removed the runners, most runners have catches to pull the drawer right out, can't understand why this don't.
Also replaced the runners on the other 4 drawers to stop them rattling.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Just because they do not appear in the catalogue, does not mean they are not available to purchase, do an online request and they will reply to you. I have bought things this way. By the way, Tims mods are also what I have done.Angleseygirl wrote:I see that lots of others have had issues with the sliding pan drawer under the oven - I’ve searched & read the relevant posts. That looks a grand job and would make the drawer fit for purpose. I won’t be able to do it myself but know a friend who could. Thanks so much for replying :-)

The drawer is like flat pack furniture, it all comes to pieces with twist lock fittings and not too difficult to do, any one with some woodworking skills could to it. The runners came from Ironmongery Direct.
