Warwick XL flat vehicle & leisure batteries
First timer asking the forum for advice!
I have a Warwick XL, which up until our last trip has been perfect. We were on site with an EHU for 3 days and when we went to leave we had a flat vehicle battery. The camper was started with a power pack and we drove 3.5 hours home and the battery was still flat. I removed it and trickle charged, had it tested and was ok, I had the alternator tested , again ok ( I’ve only done 6k miles). I have solar and the smart charging on the panel and it has gone flat again. I isolated the battery on the battery off on the Ignition and now the leisure battery is going flat. It looks like I have something draining the battery. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Check main fuse, it may be 20amp and blown, it should have been changed to 25amp., check with Sargent if you want clarification.

Ok I located the main fuse, assuming it is the 20 amp vehicle battery fuse in the fuse board behind the drivers seat and it is ok?

No Paul, they told me over the phone and auto sleeper service agreed .
Been running on 30 amp for six months without problems.
Had to have the software update to disable the relay and now finally i have been away without a fuse blowing

Please correct me if I’m wrong but I’m not sure this fuse upgrade applies to a 2018 van which the OP has, just more recent vans.

Guys, thanks for the comments but my main fuse is not blown and does not need replacing, this is not my issue.

Re: Warwick XL flat vehicle & leisure batteries
Have you had the leisure battery checked as well?
Was the LB working OK (not on EHU) when the starter battery first went flat?
Have you tried isolating the vehicle electrics from the hab electrics and then observing the batteries?

Re: Warwick XL flat vehicle & leisure batteries
Leisure battery was ok, but not had it checked. It was only when I isolated the vehicle battery via the ignition that the leisure battery started to go flat. I have been in touch with the Sargent tech helpline and I am going to check the connections on the PSU and whether I have a connection which is faulty, drawing power from the batteries.
