Duetto over-cab cupboard (2 berth)

Hi,
This might seem a little strange but I was wondering whether anyone has coverted their van from 2 berth to 4 berth (I.e. by removing the over cab cupboard and changing it to a drop down front similar to the 4 berth Duettos and incorporating bed boards?). Is it possible or will I wreck the van?! She's a 1996 Duetto.

I’m pretty sure this has been asked before. Have you tried the search facility?

Bigger problem will be approved rear seating and seat belts. 
I'd research that bit first......
