Thetford fridge

Model N3097 in Warwick XL 2019
The control panel works as normal, interior light comes on.
We have tried hook up and gas, no joy. Cooling fin in fridge not working,  ice box not working.
Can hear gas clicking then stops.
Heat evident from outside vent.
Any advice please?

You haven’t mentioned any error codes. It would be obvious if one was being displayed but do you have access to the fault diagnostic guide? If not it’s available from Thetford’s website. I seem to recall there’s a fault condition that doesn’t result in a code being displayed but I could be wrong.

Worth checking that out first. You maybe unlucky and have more than one fault (eg main element failed and a blocked gas burner) or there’s a common fault, such as a failed control board.

I too had a problem with the Thetford fridge. In the end, I sought the advice of a more knowledgeable person then I (not difficult). Apart from the usual, make sure it's level, he pressed, at the same time, the on button and, I think, the source selection button. Error code 13 then flashed up. The fridge was turned off and, apparently resets when it is turned on again. Now works perfectly.  
Perhaps one of our more knowledgeable fellow Members could advise on the correct procedure to obtain error code 13 for you.
