On the Brittany Ferries Pont-Aven Plymouth to Santander this Sunday 9th June, any one else on here doing the same? 2400 passengers and 650 cars.

Re: Ferry on Tuesday night
Re ferries...which we use a lot..
All of us know, and expect to close our gas valves.
On the Color Magic we were met in the queue by a Color inspector who not only checked it personally but attached a label to the wing mirror.
He then asked that the gas locker was unlocked when on board, new one for me.
Why, I asked, politely?
In case you're parked next to an EV which catches fire. We can cool your gas bottles better with the door open!!
I suggested such things wouldn't be needed if EV's weren't allowed on board....!
He grunted and wandered off. Think he had heard such thoughts before!!

We are on Pont Aven, Plymouth to Roscoff on the 21st, after that depends on that big yellow ball in the sky which direction we head! Never been asked to turn the gas off on the King Harry ferry!

Having sailed on Pont Aven, we were passing by the town so decided to visit it. Nice place but so busy we couldn't park so settled for a drive by!

We managed to park just above the town in a car park there, pretty enough place but too many tourists for our liking
Meanwhile back on the ferry

Re: Ferry on Tuesday night
Its worrying Ian mentioning the gas locker being left unlocked on ferries. No one checked anything or mentioned the gas locker door when we went through Portsmouth. Our locker door is locked or open as I think others are .

Re: Ferry on Tuesday night
Ours is, I think like yours Dave, either key locked or open. Doesn't even stay closed unless locked with the key.
We complied, happily. However, it was the reasoning which I found disturbing.
I have asked several ferry companies what their EV fire plans are, so far no replies.....

Now at Evora, camped up for the night, continuing to head south chasing the sunshine on the N2 towards Faro tomorrow

Re: Ferry on Tuesday night
Only two sleeps to go then off to Roscoff, probably Plouvorn by the lake night one then your guess is as good as mine
Looks like hot weather in Brittany so may go no further than that.
Happy travels all those on the road.
