Charging Issue Empty Charging Issue

I am having a problem with the battery charger on my 2008 Nuevo.
On hook-up it starts to charge the batteries but then fries the 20amp fuse and dies, any ideas anyone?
it works fine on the alternator.

Long shot ,  could it be your battery that's fried
