Peugeot extended warranty

Did anyone extend their Peugeot warranty? You can only extend it before the initial 3 years is up. It seems that Peugeot lack sufficient confidence in their product to sell extended manufacturer warranty beyond three years or 60,000 miles, which is rather surprising, given how much they charge. But if you buy it before the 3 years is up, it can be renewed until it's 10 years old. In other words, they will only sell warranty where the vehicle has been continuously under warranty since new.

Without breakdown cover, the fourth year costs £498.96, or with breakdown cover, £558.96, so I don't think I will bother.
