Peugeot cab paint warranty

Hi All

The paint and lacquer has lifted around one of the front daytime running lights on my 2014 Broadway. Anyone know if this is covered under warranty and if so, who by A/S or Peugeot ?

To quote from page 69 of the current Auto-Sleeper brochure.....

"All motorhomes first registered in the UK and purchased from a UK Peugeot Approved Manufacturer benefit from a Peugeot 3 year unlimited mileage warranty and an 8 year paint guarantee provided by the Peugeot Dealer Network in the UK"

Hello Rubi's dad, it is possible that the bumper was painted by Auto Sleeper, ask your dealer to check on the build number.

I will call A/S tomorrow and check. I did speak to Peugeot last Fri and they are happy to take a look at it but will speak with A/S first.

Not long after we purchased our new 2014 Broadway, I noticed paint flaking in the small recessed detail on both front wings. I also noticed a large area of bubbling paintwork on the nearside wing. When the vehicle was at A/S for other warranty work, I showed these to Mark. He was surprised and said they would look at the problem. When we came to pick up the vehicle, Mark had both wings replaced with new ones. We were delighted.

Well after several weeks of waiting for a response A/S have advised that the bumper was painted by them and not Peugeot. Which is a problem as A/S clearly do not have much faith in the paint they use as they only give a 1 year warranty, unlike Peugeot who provide 3 years. So when your M/H is 11 months old be sure to check all the paintwork and get A/S to put anything right as rest assured after 12 months they don't want to know!
