Dorset ES / ELand Symbol
Hello everyone
I have read that the Autosleeper Dorset is Marquis’ version of the Symbol but what is the actual difference between that and a Symbol? Also, what does ES mean, I assume EL means end lounge?

ES means extra seat, so you have 2 forward facing rear seats. Usual Marquis upgrades are habitation aircon, possibly rear air suspension if not fitted to Symbol by then, and different upholstery.
As you suspect, EL means end lounge which I can't imagine on a Symbol.

Thank you Paul, that makes sense re the ES as did see that seat on one model but didn’t connect the two. The description for mine says cab air con so don’t think I’ve got it in the actual van past the front seats. I’ve got the air suspension thought so will have to work out what to do with that when I have the vehicle at home.

There's a 2012 Dorset on Autotrader, not ES but it does have habitation aircon, you can see the unit on the roof.

Oh yes, didn’t think of that. Of course I’d know as would see it on the roof. Doh

When you pick it up, make sure that works.

I will, thank you Paul. I’m making a list of all the things to check and will add that now.

Re: Dorset ES / ELand Symbol
ES is definitely Extra Seat so in total including the driver there is 4 belted seats, you can see the extra seat belt on the wall just by the cooker unit. In the second photo you can see the Air Con unit on the roof.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
