Microwave replacement
The Daewoo microwave oven fitted to my Broadway EK 2013 is faulty and needs replacing. Any suggestions as to where I can buy the same replacement model or suggest a suitable compatible model would be helpful and appreciated.
Many thanks

Re: Microwave replacement
My Daewoo was also faulty through overheating due to lack of air space around to disperse the heat. I searched for a slightly smaller one and found the manual control one from Adsa (George brand) is an inch lower top to bottom measurement which gives that necessary gap for air. Width and depth are much the same as the original Daewoo.

Microwave replacement technicality
Paul, how did you secure the new microwave? I guess yours- like mine in the Bourton is screwed down…four screws accessed from beneath go in to the feet of the microwave. was this how you secured yours? Were the screw holes in the right place to meet the feet of the new microwave?
I have seen the microwave you suggest in Asda and it looks ideal…2 dials..temperature and time..no need for fancy electronics

Re: Microwave replacement
Made a template on paper of the original holes, transferred the marks to the new microwave first checking the screws wouldn't hit anything inside microwave and put an extra screw as well. Mine didn't actually go into the feet on the old one but into the metal floor. A lot of checking position making sure door could open but all went well. Always intended to remove it and replace screws with rivnuts but never got around to it, microwave still secure.
