Missing hose and tap of Trident water tank
There is no hose connected to the water tank so water comes straight out
Can see where it connects to but don’t know what size hose and tap I would need
Also where I could buy them as I in Peterhead and nothing near here
Thanks

Re: Missing hose and tap of Trident water tank
The one thing that's consistent about A/S conversions is that they are inconsistent! What was fitted on a June 2007 Trident might be the same as was fitted on a January 2007 Trident or... it might not.
The most common reason for these pipes going missing (in my experience) is the poor quality of the clips that were fitted at the factory to hold the pipe and tap up to the sill. These fail, the pipe drops down and it then gets ripped off when, for example, you go over a speed bump.
The only sure way to know the size of the pipe that you need is to get under and measure the spigot. Fortunately by 2007 A/S had almost certainly moved to a metric size, so you shouldn't have too many problems finding a size of pipe that fits.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn’t have thought there would be that much variation! The spigot I assume is the point where I would attach the hose, and then I would need a hose with internal diameter that matches. Any tips on measuring it as there is not a lot of space under the van.

I'd just use a vernier caliper - but whatever works for you. Agreed - I doubt there's much variation, but... there's no point in guessing, buying the part, and then finding you've guessed wrong.

I assume your hose is like the one that was fitted to our Duetto being a pipe with a tap on the end. If so I replaced ours with a longer hose clipping it along the door sill with Terry clips. This made draining the tank easier when the grid was not very accessible.

And if possible get a powder-coated or (better) stainless steel Terry-type clip - because if you get ordinary steel it will rot through in a couple of years and it will be dragging on the road again...
