Grill Not Staying On
My grill wasn't staying lit on my Triplex oven/grill so having had a quick check over and making sure the thermocouple was clean, put it down to a failing thermocouple. I ordered one, and when it finally came, started to remove the oven to go through the motions of replacing it. As I pulled the oven out I realised the cable attached to the oven door safety switch was disconnected! Plugged the badger back in and hey presto, all working again!
Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else has a similar grill issue - moral of the story, check cabling first
For info, part number was:
Thetford Electrode And Thermocouple Kit Grill Duplex/Triplex
THETFORD CODE : SSPA0627-QQ091032
Picture indicates where the cable had detached.

Have recently been through this on a similar age Kemerton XL, but was dealt with under warranty having bought it pre-owned last year. In our case it was a faulty thermocouple.
Good diagnostics on your part, thanks for sharing.

Re: Grill Not Staying On
I have a 2013 Topaz. One of the two burners would not stay on unless I kept the control knob pressed in. I never interfere with gas fittings so headed for the nearest caravan service centre. The technician removed two screws from the top of the hob which allowed it to be raised slightly giving access to wiring. One cable was detached. He replaced it and all was working correctly. Time take about 3minutes. No charge.
