ZENEC 965
Hi - I have a 2023 Warwick XL that has, what looks like, a state of the art, fancy radio which has a carplay function. I would like to connect my phone to it but can't locate the rear USB port. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Isn’t it done wirelessly? Your handbook will tell you.
Meanwhile, it would be nice if you tell us a bit about yourself in the Introductions section.

Re: ZENEC 965
Thank you folks - The CarPlay, being Apple, needs a USB connection (wish it didn't). According to the manual there's supposed to be a connection at the rear of the unit but I can't get tio it without taking out the whole unit and I can't believe that's corect but that's what it says. I think I'll just stick to the BT connection and be dome with it but thank you anyway. I will also update the introducion page.

The USB in the centre glove box connects to the infotainment system.

Mine (2022 WXL) is in the cool unit above the passenger glove box (dashboard section). I have 2 usb female sockets in there and just run a cable down.
Apple car play can be wireless btw - its wireless in my BMW, I expect it would be possible to do it with the WXL - personally I don’t care, easy enough to plug it in.

Mine (2020 WXL) is in a sensible place, why is progress so much of a hinderance?

Re: ZENEC 965
Dear all - I finally traced the USB connection to, what should be, the drinks cooling box siutated above the passenger glove box. There are two USB leads/connectors. One is a charging lead and the other a CarPlay lead. Why they could have installed it in the same place as Monty-Plym's I will never know. Hey Ho. Thank you once again for the feedback/suggestions. really helpful.

I have a USB in the same place as Monty-Plym's but it is for charging only. The one in the glove box is the only one which connects to the media player.

At the NEC today looking at the new 2024 Warwick XL. For some reason they are no longer fitted with rear speakers or the rear switches that control the main lights and the sliding rail lights.
