AS Symbol 2004 Mysterious Hooks
Hi all,
Cleaning the van the last couple of days and noticed something I've not seen before.
On the main skylight at the back of the housing are 2 plastic pull out pieces with small holes at the end of them.
Anyone got any idea what these are for?
ThanksĀ
Steve

So the hooks / plastic lugs fold back flat above the plastic housings below. They are not added on and are part of the overall skylight moulding.

You have a manual lift skylight and the handle can locate on those 2 'ledges', the fold out pieces swing over the bar to hold it in place otherwise a stiff blast of wind would lift it up and possibly break it. I had such a skylight on our Nuevo. Wish we still had it on our Duo instead of the fragile winding mechanism we have now.

Agreed. We had the same on numerous caravans.
