Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
Hi. I'm considering the purchase of the above van. Just a little confused about the engine spec. Is the Peugeot engine fitted in this 2021 model a 165bhp or could it be a 118bhp? Thanks.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
I don't think there's ever been a 118. My 2010 is a 120 and they've always got more powerful over the years.

I've seen 2 advertised as 118 bhp yet all the blurb, youtube etc refer to 165 bhp and never 118.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
120bhp engine is rounded up from actual 118bhp
Similarly 130 is actual 128bhp
Might well be 120 and 130PS, but I don't understand that stuff.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
We had the 140 in the Ducato variant. It was fine but I’d not fancy the lower powered 120.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
We had the manual gearbox Warwick Duo before getting the MQ, So not much of a change with internal layout or size for us. However having the automatic is great. We have travelled through Italy, Switzerland and France with no problems. The external bbq point is handy. An ideal van for two.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
In 2021, a Boxer will almost certainly be a 160 or 165bhp.
You don't say if it's manual or auto i.e. Boxer or Ducato
My boxer based 2017 Warwick Duo is 160bhp. The current model is 165bhp (availability permitting). I don't know the year that Pug went from 160 to 165. Ducato's are usually lower power engines (140bhp).
I hear supply problems in 2023 with the 165bhp engine so I may be out of date.
A Marquis special may have a lower spec engine vs an AS, who specs the 60th Anniversary edition?

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
I assume it is an Autosleeper special, it was their 60th Anniversary. It's a Peugeot, so it's a manual.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
Any 'special' features on the Anniversary edition will relate to the AS conversion and not the base vehicle. The base vehicle will be a normal Peugeot offering of some sort.
Establishing whether the engine is a 2 litre or 2.2 will enable you to research the variants. My thoughts are that it is likely to be underpowered if it is a 120 BHP. (I don't think Fiat and Peugeot had standardised their engines in 2021 but the Ducato was available as a 140, 160 or 180 2.3 at that time.)

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
You'd think it would be easy to get the answer to this question online. Autosleepers own advertising material from 2021 doesn't mention engine sizes, just gearbox options.

Re: Warwick Duo 60th Anniversary
There are several listings on Google of the 60th anniversary Nuevo (it was also the 20th anniversary of the Nuevo) and they all appear to have Peugeot 2.3 litre 165bhp engines with manual gearboxes so I would presume the Warwick would also have the same engine as its the same base vehicle.

I bet it doesn't come with the really essential pull out ironing board like the original Warwick!

Why not input the reg number into one of those vehicle apps, I use “vehicle check” and it lists all the base vehicle specifications including power output.

what does it say yes 165 bhp that is used by A/S
nothing about higher or lower power version
yes it was asked could it be 118bhp
the 2.2 is sold with a 120bhp 140bhp or the 165bhp

You’ll find what you’ve said is pretty much what I and others have been saying.

It is customary to quote the post of the person to whom you’re replying to avoid confusion.
i better google if thats customary or a forum Rule or just a Twinwheeler Rule
