Anniversary Clubman

We’ve just had a lovely evening having drinks with our new pitch neighbours on a CL....in their Anniversary Clubman. First time I have been in one and only the second one I have seen/ noticed .
They are thinking of selling it. We are thinking of buying it....but a big cost difference to our humble old Talisman. Thankfully the wine will help us both get some sleep and we might wake up with a sensible head on!

Is it right only 50 Anniversary Clubmans were made and only the Clubman? If so, they are a rare breed #stilltempted

There have been a number of Anniversary editions of various models but for the 50th anniversary A/S revived the monocoque bodyshell and made 50 Executives. So, yes, quite special.

My mistake...or blame it on the wine last night, I should have said Anniversary Executive. We got to talking about all different a/s including my never ending grief in exchanging from the beloved Nuevo. That’s another story and I am still trying to persuade my beloved to change back.  I could be one step nearer ,as changing to the Anniversary can not be justified cost wise but it has served to re open certain conversations....watch this space!
