Factory alarm system
Hi guys,
I have been asked by my insurance company (caravan Guard) to confirm what type of alarm is factory fitted to a Warwick Duo 2014 van. I have no idea any help would be appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge AS do not fit alarms as standard. If you have one, it will likely be an after build fit and could be any make.

Re: Factory alarm system
Tinwheeler is right, AS don't fit alarms. It may well have been fitted by the original dealer, mine was . Mine is a Cobra alarm but yours could be any make.

A-S are wedded to Sargent who only supply caravan alarms which can't be fitted to motorhomes. If you want an alarm it has to be an aftermarket vehicle alarm.

Have you a separate fob that you manually press to set/ unset the said
alarm ? If so are there no details on it ? mine had the make and serial number embossed in small letters on the back.

Thanks for the replies
Thanks for the replies guys, I am surprised that the Boxer van does not come with a factory alarm.
Even my previous 2007 VW T5 campervan conversion had a standard factory alarm.

I was equally surprised when I bought my Nuevo new in 2019. It came as standard with Sargent's tracker but not an alarm which is why my dealer had one fitted (Vodafone Cobra) that should have been connected to the tracker but wasn't which is another story.cibaker wrote:Thanks for the replies guys, I am surprised that the Boxer van does not come with a factory alarm.
