Sliding door fly screen
Any recommendations please for a simple fly screen for side door. I am uncertain which, if any, of the ones available on Amazon and e bay will fit… due the mouldings?

Thanks! I’ve ordered the van comfort Hindermann one. Magnetic attachment all round and a knowledgable and helpful supplier. A bit pricey but reviews of the £50 cheap jobs on Amazon and eBay hardly inspire!

Excellent !
Let me know how you get on because I haven't ordered yet, and that was one of my choices too.
Where did you get it from, and what price?

Van comfort Hindermann screen has arrived. First impressions .. a substantial, well thought out, product . Easy to fit. As warned , it will take a while for creases to come out when it will fit more snugly.
So I’d give it the thumbs up.

Thanks Bill,
Good to hear. Its on my list now before we visit Spain in the new year!
I understand they also do one for the rear doors. I probably wouldn't need that with my layout, but you might with a Fairford (or do you have a Fairford Plus)?

I've come to the conclusion that you can minimise their opportunity of getting in, but you can't keep them out entirely. They often get in and out when you do. On this last trip, I was bitten to death overnight by something that got in, and stayed inside for about 10 days. Also, a load of tiny things crawling all over my backlit Kindle when I was reading in the dark made it tricky.
On the next trip, I'm resorting to the nuclear solution from my childhood pre-fly screen caravan holidays. A can of fly spray!
