It shows you can make things work with a bit thinking. Had we still got our Duetto we would have had to do something similar by moving the wardrobe floor up. Yes it would have reduced the hanging length of clothes on but I think most of us could adjust to that for the convenience of having a compatible gas bottle in an older camper.
