Water heater on a timer

Is there any way I can set a timer for the truma water heater to turn on and off at a set time, 2016 WXL EC500 and a 480 control panel

Yes but have never tried it, there is a timer on the Truma control panel

UPDATE just had a quick look on Google, bottom left icon and can set start and stop times for heating or water

Have you got the truma controller with the multi-function knob? There's a timer setting on that which I believe is to set a start and stop time, never used it myself so far so not sure what it switches on and off.
