Overhead locker Cupboards
Looking for advice on how to repair, the wood fixing has split and come away from the screws (outside in) both the fixing and door are now off.

Easiest solution often to glue some cocktail stick or matchstick into the hole in wood, leave to dry then trim level with door. Allow screws to get a good grip.

Cut the screws out off the way , use a good wood glue in the cracks on the door jam part and clamp to hold it together till the wood has cured the use plastic cabinet blocks to hold the jam in place , B&Q do a good selection of blocks and corner fixings

As Freelander says - use a good wood glue. Have a look on Google for Titebond. I use it for repairing guitar necks and if it can withstand the tension the strings put on the joint then it will hold up to just about anything.

looks like MDF rather the wood , PVA wood glue will adhere it fine , you could remove the door , fill the split with PVA and refit onto the screws and clamp the split on the screws and fit an internal bracket/blocks .

Thanks I was thinking the same, looking for the easiest method and I’m not sure i could remove the screws, a few blocks should add stability.

Re: Overhead locker Cupboards
I'm not a fan of MDF. It's only glorified cardboard, really.
I would go down the block route for fitting, not like you can screw it in as per original, so you'll need to slice those screws off. A Dremel would be ideal for that if you have one. However, I would be very tempted to replace that section with some real hardwood, either the right colour, or stained to be as close as possible, but that's just me.
