Jack for wheel changing Duetto
Does anybody know where the jack might be stored, I've searched everywhere I can think of and can't find one.

Mine is under the single seat by the sliding door - access from the side or slide the seat forward as you would to make a single bed. Mine is a 1998 model

Thank you, I guess I don't have a jack or wheelbrace!

Mine came with both but the jack was useless - as I discovered in Ireland last summer. Bought one since. My spare wheel was also useless - I had meant to drop it down and check it but forgot!

Does your heater work? I’ve had mine out and sent away - but stopped working over the winter.

I haven't tried it yet, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the fridge running off the batteries.

Assuming you have the usual 3 way fridge, it will only run off the battery when the engine is running.

Ah! Thank you, I was intending to test that today! Still a lot to learn. There is a solar panel fitted with a splitter that charges both the leisure batteries and the van batteries, I was hoping it would run off that.
Also the safe is locked and there is no key so I'm going to have to break into that somehow. I don't relish trying to get through customs with a locked box that I did not pack.

The safe on mine uses the same key as the water fill cap. The safe lock may also have a code written on it which you can use to order a key?
My jack is in the slidy draw under the sofa.

In our 2007 Duetto the jack was under the driver's seat.

Thank you, I’ll need to buy a Jack. I managed to open the safe by brute force. I’ll need to buy a new lock

Jack and wheelbrace can be readily sourced if you don't have either but what is essential is the winder handle (like a folding metal rod) as the same item is used to drop the spare wheel down.March A'mer wrote:Thank you, I guess I don't have a jack or wheelbrace!
