calor gas
HELP! My 06 reg AS Symbol has a small internal gas compartment that hitherto has used the 3.9Kg Calor bottle. I have read that this is no longer available, which is a bit of a disaster.
Can anyone help and advise on a suitable make and replacement also type of fittings. The compartment is restricted in size.
Many thanks for considering.
Regards
David

This is my solution allowing the use of calor in Uk and Campingaz abroad where you can't get Calor.
I know you may not be able to fit a 6Kg propane as I have here, so have a look on the GASLOW website, they have alternatives you can fill at a petrol station. If none, their underslung tanks can be used inside the van in a ventilated compartment, which yours should be, just check the sizes on there

David, a2005 Symbol I had for 5 years would carry 2 gas cylinders in its gas locker.A 3.9 at the back on the small plinth and a 6 kg propane in front.A tight squeeze but doable.Your locker should be the same size so it would be worthwhile trying to borrow one to try in your van. Best of luck,a stockist would probably let you try one.

Calor supply still an issue. Lots of stockists listed on website, very few have exchanges for sale.
Lots of empty bottles that need collecting.

Re: calor gas
I was told yesterday that calor are rethinking the decision to stop the filling of the smaller bottles .
I haven’t any solid proof of this but of course hope it’s true .

Re: calor gas
Shop around - I paid £45 in Devon for a new Flogas bottle - that was full. And no adaptor needed - I'm sure?
