Yes it was brand new ,all I get is has it had a habitation check if not they won't touch it ,seems a get out to me ,I would of thought after spending £60,000 plus it would be a reliable van .forgot that the water pump ticks in and out at will weather taps are on or off ,had to switch off at night .I reckon it's a Friday night job.?Davidh wrote:Hi Inky

Unfortunately, if it hasn’t had the hab check, the warranty is invalid.

Sounds like it - we all expect a few issues but surely not this many? Who is supposed to do the Hab Check - the Dealer or AS? Apologies if that's a naive question, I'm new to all of this - we're getting a new XL sometime at the back end of this year (in theory).Inky wrote:

Re: Warwick X L
The water pump if it’s an in the tank one just needs the pressure switch adjusting, have you asked your dealer if you have the Hab check will they honour the warranty only they can answer that

You can use either your dealer or AS. It should be covered in the literature supplied with the van.Davidh wrote:

Re: Warwick X L
Inky, I’m not quite sure of the date/timings of your purchase with regards to lockdowns etc… but unless I’ve misread things, didn’t you take back/report many of your problems soon after purchase? If this is the case then surely the warranty would still apply as many issues were reported before the first habitation check was due?
Apologies if I have misunderstood things.

That will be the overflow on top of the tank and the white wire in the tube will be for the submersible pump in the tank

On your next visit to your dealer, ask them to give you the personal 'handover' that you didn't get when you picked it up.
