T4 Topaz rear lights Empty T4 Topaz rear lights

Hi, our nearside brake light is out and we can't find access to change the light bulb.  Do we access it from inside or outside.  It's a 1997 T4 VW Topaz.  Any advice most welcome.  Thanks  Sorry 1998
